Puberty Hygiene Kit Project

The Black Down Syndrome Association is dedicated to supporting the development and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome. Our recent projects include the Puberty Hygiene Kit project. The inaugural program of the BDSA, was created after seeing a need to support our young persons with Down syndrome as they navigate puberty. To date, we have served 30 young persons with Down syndrome.

In August 2023, BDSA was honored to be a awarded an Aerie Real Foundation™ community grant which will support this program for the upcoming fiscal year.
